A delight to wear. The first thing you notice about these premium thermals is how thin and how light they are (I weighed them and they are 250g). They have the thickness of much underwear but wearing merino wool against the skin is a delight and being so thin, you can wear these under pretty much anything. As you would expect for this sort of premium product it is extremely well made and stitched, the material has a lot of elasticity without losing its shape and being merino-wool it is extremely warm (surprisingly so) and comfortable when wearing and the sizing seems accurate. They look like they are built to last as well as for comfort and warmth. The outdoor hiking equivalent of sexy underwear I would say. They are a delight to wear, do not change the feel of the clothes you are wearing over them (in general whilst I love thermals, you always know you are wearing them). These are wonderful thermals. They are at a premium price point but they are a treat to wear, which I never thought I would say about thermals.
Chris Lorigan was fantastic he replied to my email straight away and put my mind at ease after I mistakenly ordered the wrong size.and I was online ordering early in the morning fron Australia.
Please give him a huge Xmas bonus and a 2week all expenses paid holiday to a destination of his choice
I bought a pair and I was so thrilled with them I bought a second pair..although they are the same size the 2nd pair seem quite a bit tighter with little stretch almost like they have been cut out if fabric the wrong way so was disappointed as they are a bit uncomfortable to wear😞 but quality seems good
I had bought a pair and loved them so much so I bought a second pair the same size but they don't fit as good... they don't have the same stretch and comfort and cut weird around the waist.. I was thinking they might give after wearing them but they didn't sadly...but other than that the first ones were great
Just what I wanted for the Central Otago Cold Winter
However I did have a problem with there being No Fly opening - Are disabled and only have the use of my right hand which calls for a different mind set
I am a motorcycle enthusiast, I need to be warm at my advanced age! :-)
The items are toasty warm, and feel nice - not scratchy
I recommend to everyone
Great long John's have worn shorts all my life all year around out on the farm now I'm nearly 50 I'm feeling the cold a bit, just like wearing shorts with warm comfortable legs
Hubby really suffers from the cold and havd tried many different thermal options which were o.k however these take comfort and warmth to a whole new level.
